We previously reported in our newsletter that there were no increases in 2014 tip rates planned for the state of New York. This has now changed as follows:
The tip rate in New York state will increase from $2.25 to $3.00. Additionally, meal credits remain at $2.50 for tipped hospitality industry workers but in 2014 non-tipped hospitality workers will start receiving a $2.75 meal credit.
